Interview done by former BYU All-American Ryan Millar. It’s about 55 minutes.
Worsley currently playing for Friedrichshafen in Germany, living in the south with a view of the Swiss Alps. Talks about moving there, the COVID situation, his passion for the game and “all things volley.”
Fun to again hear his stories, especially how he insisted that he wanted to play setter and not libero. Talks about his close connection with Micah Ma’a and how he almost went to UCLA. And how his four years at Hawai’i were the best decision he every made and the best years of his life.
IMHO, Worsley should have been national player of the year in 2019.
Volleyball magazine also did a recent story on Worsley, how he came off the bench to become Friedrichshafen’s MVP in the bundesliga.
ICYMI, Volleyballmag.com also had a piece on Joe and Gage Worsely and the magic tricks when winning a triples grass tournament last July. Fun read.
