8:55: UH up 15-10 at the TTO. With double-doubles Lang (41 assists-11 digs), Wagoner (10 kills-10 digs) and Van Sickle (14 kills-12 digs).

Amber Igiede with 101 digs, is the first UH middle to have 100 digs in a season since Lauren Duggins in 2002.

Set 2 stats. Igiede 7-1-9 (think they gave her the error on the net violation). Ikenaga with 13 digs, 7 in Set 2. UH hit .333 15-3-36. CSUN 7-3-35 .114. After going 6-0-13 in Set 1, CSUN’s Waggoner goes 0-1-7.

8:04: Van Sickle ends it with her fifth kill. 5-0-18.

800: Net violation on Igiede, Ikenaga aced. CSUN closes to 20-11. TO UH

7:56: UH up 18-9. TO CSUN. Ikenaga with 12 digs.

7:50: UH up 12-6. TO CSUN. Igiede with 4 kills in this set.

In Set 1, UH hit .209 (14-5-43) to CSUN’s .293 (17-5-41). Hawai’i with 3-1 edge in blocks but also 3-1 in SEs. Wagoner 6-1-10, Igiede 3-2-13. For CSUN, Waggoner 6-0-13.

Set 1: Matadors hold on, 25-23

7:35: CSUN’s Seyvion Waggoner with three straight kills (5-0-12) gives the Matador’s set point at 24-22. TO UH

7:22: CSUN hitting .346 (10-1-26) to Hawai’i’s .222 (9-3-27)

In its 20th season in the PCAA/Big West, Hawai’i could notch its 300th conference victory with a win Friday. The Wahine are 299-45. A victory tonight also gives the Wahine their 18th win in conference play, the first time a team has done that since 2012 when Hawai’i went 18-0.

  1. Many mishandled balls getting called on CSUN…hard to tell on tv, but are the sets really bad or is the ref being overly picky?
