Charlieston was supposed to play Central State today at OSU but Charleston pulled out of the tournament. Buckeyes will play Central again tomorrow as originally scheduled
At Bristol, Tenn., Purdue Fort Wayne def. King, 25-21, 25-19, 25-20
At Loretta, Pa., Saint Francis (Pa.) def. Juniata, 25-14, 25-25, 25-14

Beach again postpones season opener. Beach revealed is entering a 10-day pause from volleyball activities that started on Wednesday. This pause results in Long Beach State canceling its matches against Juanita on Friday and Saint Francis on Saturday along with its home opener against Erskine on Wednesday.

On Twitter & Former Wahine Martina Leoniak has landed at NC State. Leoniak is one of two transfers added by the Wolfpack.

NC State coach is Luka Slabe who played at BYU, including on the 2001 NCAA championship team. He is from Slovenia.



  1. Good for you Cindy. Still covering and updated us well as if you were there! Yeah, I’m over 65 as well and need to get my booster.
    I’m guessing maybe Leoniak went to the east coast because it’s a lot closer to her homeland than Hawaii is. Maybe she didn’t like the periogies they have here, lol!
