Lewis coach Dan Friend came by to chat pregame He said team had practice, went to the North Shore. They got in the water at Waimea Bay, went to Pipeline (did not get in the water). then a luau.
Friend said they were going to run a modified 6-2. Key will be passing Hawai’i’s serves better so they can run the middle. Mitchem only had 12 swings.

 

Hawai’i women’s basketball team wins the Big West Tournament, 59-48, over UC Irvine. It is the first time that the Rainbow Wahine won both the regular season and the conference tournament. The selection show will air Sunday at 2 p.m. HT on ESPN.
