Set 4: Bruins win 25-21.
7:50: Interesting. UCLA celebrating but UH challenging UCLA was in the net. Call stands. UCLA wins.
7:46: UH with its 11th block, this on Knight. Warriors close to 23-20. TO UCLA. Chakas on serve.
7:42: Norris with an ace, his 4th, UCLA’s ninth, puts the Bruins up 21-16. TO UH.
7:40: UH haas closed to 19-16. TO UCLA. Akana still on serve.

7:35: At the moment, UH has closed to 16-15 but UCLA challenging Knight’s kill was in. Call overturned. UCLA up 17-14. Make that 18-14 on a net violation. TO UH.
Set 3
7:39: Chakas called for a lift. It’s 15-11 Bruins at the TTO.
7:35: Second ace by Norris makes it 10-8.
7:25: Challenge success. Ace by Norris.
7:23: UCLA challenging that Norris’ serve was in. If so, UCLA up 9-8.
7:21: Call stands. UCLA up 7-6
7:18: Lord these refs are horrible. UH challenging ball was down. at the moment, UCLA is up 7-5. A few plays ago David’s attack never went over. He even stopped playing because he knew. but nothing called. UH won the point. Call overturned UH up 7-5. Chakas hits long. UH challenging there was a touch.

Set 3:
7:08: UH holds off one set point, not a second. David with his 20th kill ends it.
7:04: UH blocks Champliln, closes to 21-19. TO UCLA. Mouchlias still on serve.
7:01: Kill by Voss, Hogland and Galloway stuff David. UH pulls to 20-18. TO UCLA. G-Voss still on serve.
6:58: Not understanding how Champlin’s whole foot crosses the center line and no violation called. Or why Wade didn’t/couldn’t challege. Galloway blocked. UCLA up 20-15. TO UH.
6:55: Thelle called for a lift. It’s 18-14. TO Warriors.
6:53: At 17-13, UH challenging a net violation on UCLA. Up ref could have easily called UCLA for 2 separate lifts. Call reversed. It’s 16-14. Thelle on serve.

6:49: UCLA gets 17th kill from David. Bruins lead 15-13 at the TTO.
6:45: UCLA challenge their serve was in. Call reversed. Bruins with first lead at 11-10.

This is just the 4th set UCLA has dropped since losing 3-1 at Hawai’i on March 11.

Set 2 Warriors win 33-31
6:31: UH needs seven set points, also holding off two set points by UCLA, last kill by Mouchlias, his 11th.
6:17: UCLA’s 11th service error starts UH’s 3-0. Hogland stuffs McHenry, kill by Mouchlias, his 8th, has the Warriors to within 22-21. TO UCLA. G-Voss still on serve.
6:14: Ace by Knight, his second of the match, puts UCLA back up by four at 22-18. TO UH.
6:12: Thelle sets the school record for aces with his 122nd pulling UH to 19-15. Warriors close to 19-17 before Thelle serves into net.
6;07: Thelle. blocked. UCLA up 19-13. TO UH
6:06: Call Stands. UCLA up 17-13. Akana on serve
6:04: David hits long, making it 17-13. UCLA challenging touch by the UH block.
At the moment UCLA 12-1-18. UH 4-1 12
6:01: Sheward called for a lift. UCLA up 15-10 at the TTO. Losing Set 1 was huge for Hawai’i.

Set 1: UCLA wins 28-26

5:44: UCLA holds off two set points of Hawai’i the last at 25-24. Bruins finish it out on their second set point, kill by David.
5:32. UH led 23-20 on Chakas’ fourth kill. UCLA has come to 23-22. TO Warriors.
5:34: David, who had been 7-0-9 has had 3 consecutive hitting errors. Last 2 in a row gives UH the 22-20 lead. TO UCLA. David is 7-3-12.
5:31: And just like that. two UH hitting errors and it’s tied. 20-20 TO UH. David still on serve.
5:29: UCLA called for a bad set. Bruins want an overreach. Point to UH. It’s 20-18. TO UCLA. Thelle still on serve.
6:27: Chakas blocked. makes it 19-18. UH challenging net violation. Call reversed. It’s 19-18 UH leads.

5:20:Thiim with UH”s first service error, puts the Bruins up 15-13 at the tto. Bruins hitting .435, no answer yet for Ido David (7-0-9) UH hiting .333 (9-2-21) Galloway 3-0-4
